Last debreafing

Well, I can't talk too much about the episodes, seeing as how I missed all but one of them because of my appendicitis. Let me just say though appendicitis sucks. I got a bunch of work that I need to catch up on, and the timing could not be worse; just before finials. In computer science I have 3 labs and an exam to make up, math I just have an exam, but I also have to learn everything I missed myself, and in abnormal psychology I have a 5 page paper, 2 homework assignments, and again all the material that I missed. Thankfully I've gotten extensions on most of my work that should make it a little easier to deal with, but really when everyone else is studying for their finial exams, I'll be writing a paper or working on a lab. Although I guess I'll still be practicing the material witch is still a good thing, the things that I'll be doing are all things that other students have already done, basically what I'm saying here is I feel like because of my appendicitis I'm at a disadvantage going into finials, but what can I expect. Stupid appendix, we don't even need it anyway, we should just have it removed at birth to prevent this kind of thing.

Musing 10/28: Building a better baby

Wouldn't it be amazing to to have that perfect child; the boy tossing the ball out back with dad, or the girl inside baking cookies with mom, or however your idea of a perfect child would act. Never even having to worry about if your baby will be born with complications, or even if you bought the right color paint for the new room. But just because you can genetically engender your perfect family does that make it okay? Although genetically engineered super babies are a little ways off, is even pursuing this science even moral? It's really difficult for my to chose a side either way, on one side genetic despises are getting 'weeded' out, but on the other side mere mortals are playing the role of god. This issue is just to complex for me to form any real opinion about it.
