Sunday Morning Episodes

mckinleys.jpg

Everyone's episodes are great...it is making me nervous that my segment won't compare to all the others. I think it is funny how every group so far has a lot of segments relating to things at Allegheny...I'm seeing a common trend here. I really thought Didem's segment was really entertaining and funny. Here's to hoping my group episode goes as well as all of yours!

Debriefing.

All I can say is... Thanksgiving cannot come soon enough. I'm so glad I have gotten through this week of classes.

Once again, everyone's commentaries were really great! I liked Em's commentary on the food here at Allegheny mainly because I'm so sick of eating the same things over and over again and there is such a limited variety when it comes to eating healthier. Which is surprising, because I think there is research that shows eating healthy can benefit an individuals performance in school by allowing them to be more focused and attentive. I'm not a 100% sure if that is accurate, but if so, maybe that will motivate Allegheny to provide healthier foods for their students.

Debriefing.

Oops. I forgot to debrief for this week once again. I was really caught up in packing and trying to catch my bus on time to go home this weekend... as i should have been since this is the first time I have been home since August.

But besides all of that, once again I really enjoyed listening to everyone's commentaries this week. I particularly liked Ryan's just for the fact that he chose to talk about the awful television shows that are airing today. As much as I do agree with him when he says that these shows are ruining our society, I still love watching a good number of them. And about 45 percent of Americans agree would agree with me.

Dream On...

I really enjoyed the segment on dreams. They stated that dreams are usually negative and show worst case scenarios. I was wondering if our life experiences and our stresses from everyday life have an impact on the way in which we dream. If we experience something good, will we in turn have a positive dream that reflects that experience we just had?

Debriefing for the Week of 10/28

Surprisingly, I did enjoy doing and listening to everyones commentaries. All of them were on really interesting topics.

I'm not going to lie...I wasn't a fan of this weeks Sunday Morning, I thought there were one or two segments that were somewhat interesting, but other than that it didn't have much to offer. I did like the segment on Ralph Green, just because it is inspiring to see a person like him overcome hardship and disappointment, and still end up doing something great. If he is that amazing at skiing with only one leg, i can't begin to imagine what he could do if he had both!
