Episodes

I thought everyone this week did a very good job on their episodes. I thought everyone shared very good points on what they were presenting and each episode was very intersting. I present mine and tuesday and I hope my thoughts interest the other students in the class. Until tuesday! Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Relaxing Week

I really enjoyed this week's classes. I thought some of the activities that we did were some great ways to get rid of stress. After doing the Complaint Choirs and hearing what the other students had to say, I was in a great mood the rest of the day. I thought it was such a fun class.
I also really enjoyed the mindfulness activities that we did. I was so relaxed that I was on the verge of falling asleep on the spot. I really think some of the activities we did in class will be very aplicable come finals time and any other stressful situations. I know I'll probably use those techniques in the future.

Debriefing for the week

I was really surprised that my commentary received a lot of attention by the class. I was really interested to see what the other students had to say on what I thought was such a controversial topic.
On another note, I was surprised when Professor Knupsky said that we were done watching Sunday Morning. I really think that I learned a good amount of information by watching the show. I hope everyone has a good weekend.

Debriefing on Class!

I was really interested in listening to the other students express their ideas or thoughts about what is happening today. I also found the discussions on the reading and how people can have different kinds of IQ. I do believe that people can have different IQs because people excel in different areas of interest. I think mine would be something in the performing arts category. On that note, I hope everyone will get to see the Orchesis show this weekend (8:00 Fri. and Sat.!!) Hope the weekend goes well for everyone!

The Great Wall of China

One segment of Sunday Morning that I found interesting was the one on the Great Wall of China. Something that struck me was when the reporter mentioned that no one knew the actual length of the Great Wall. I found this surprising because we’re going through a technology revolution and one would think researchers would be able to determine the length of the wall through our advanced satellites or some other form equation. I believe that different architectures and history can really give a culture a sense of identity; it’s cool to have something in one’s culture that everyone can relate to or say “yeah, that’s part of my culture". I think that culture is a commonplace and that it can bring so many people together in today's society.
