One segment of Sunday Morning that I found interesting was the one on the Great Wall of China. Something that struck me was when the reporter mentioned that no one knew the actual length of the Great Wall. I found this surprising because we’re going through a technology revolution and one would think researchers would be able to determine the length of the wall through our advanced satellites or some other form equation. I believe that different architectures and history can really give a culture a sense of identity; it’s cool to have something in one’s culture that everyone can relate to or say “yeah, that’s part of my culture". I think that culture is a commonplace and that it can bring so many people together in today's society.
