My First Blog Ever
So as the title shows this is the first blog I have ever written. I've never really had an interest in blogging nor did I really understand what it was. I always thought blogs were for people with too much time on their hands to write things that most likely will go unread by the public. I figured people just used it like a journal that the public can read, not that the public would necessarily care. Now I realize that there are blogs about anything and everything. I think blogging can be interesting and I'm anxious to see how my blog develops while taking this class. I must admit I'm very nervous about all of the public speaking this class entails. I am definitely included in the majority when it comes to public speaking (I'd rather die than speak in front of a group). I'm really hoping that this class will give me more confidence and open my eyes to different things, just like it already has with blogging. I'm not really sure what I was supposed to say in this first entry so I should probably end the rambling now. I'm very excited about this semester at Allegheny College and this FS 101 class. I'll be anxious to see what my next blog is like. Hopefully I'll be a little less nervous next time!
