Response to "Navigating Sex, Sexuality, and Christian Values"

I felt that this article shows how society fails people who are homosexual in many ways. Many argue that homosexuality is something that can be avoided and the author of this article makes it clear that if that was the case, she would have gotten ride of her "problem" a long time ago. I could not fathom going through most of my life and not be able to accept myself for who I am to such a degree. The end of the article was almost inspiring. Embracing yourself for who you are and knowing that God "is more interested in people's ability and willingness to love with intergrity and care and doing unto others as we would have them do unto us" is a wonderful concept (144).
