The Greek community at Allegheny College consists of four sororities and four fraternities. The sororities come together under the Panhellenic Council, and the fraternities under the Interfraternal Council. The two councils work together to bring Allegheny Greeks together for community and campus events such as Homecoming and the Students Against Multiple Sclerosis (SAMS) Lip-Sync/Dance Contest. They also compete in the annual Greek Sing, celebrate Greek Week, and provide a campus spectacle every September and January with the running of the new member classes out of Brooks Hall.
