Alpha Phi Omega Dance-A-Thon
APO's event mission is to raise awareness and money for the Northwestern Pennsylvania chapter of the Autism Society of America. S.H.A.K.E stands for Students Helping Autistic Kids Excel, and 100% of the money raised goes to research and services for these kids. The first Dance-a-thon was a huge success! Student organizations hosted hour blocks, live bands performed, there were guest speakers and politicians, and student performances. Over $5,000 was raised and the large amount of participation increased awareness on campus and in the community.
