Inductions for the Spring 2008 class will be on Tuesday, April 1st at 8:15 in Schultz East Alcove. The attire is business casual. Please come and enjoy the ceremony, cake, and time with the new inductees and professors of the Psych Department!

Psi Chi General Meeting Minutes- April 15, 2008
**Our last meeting is Tuesday April 29th at 8:30pm in Carnegie 212
-The new exec board will run their first meeting!
-Excuses should be emailed to Katie (crossk)
*Roll Call
All members were present with the exception of Rob Abood, Jessica Adamczak, Angela Ames, Dawn Beemer, Danielle Brigham, Christopher Brighhtbill, Brandi Carofino, Anna Creighton, Jeffrey Day, Zachery Delligatti, Jennifer Estes, Dana Faux, Ric France, Sarah Goetz, Michelle Harris, Caitlin Hesch, Jochen Hutzenlaub, Joshua Kendrach, Maria Kennihan, Kristen Khor, Bradley Landgraf, Xun Li, Olivia Lobaugh, Katherine McCool, Megan McGuire, Christina McKinnis, Lauren Paladino, Robert Schreiner, Emmalynn Sigrist, and Jessica Wilson.

* Membership Requirements were reviewed
-attendance at 50% of general meetings (1 a month)
-attendance at 3 outside events each academic year (includes: psych picnic,
speakers, movie nights, inductions, etc.)
*Thursday 17th at 5pm in Carnegie 212: Speaker on Autism
-counts as an outside event
-free food
*Tuesday 29th at 8:30pm in Carnegie 212: Movie night (and last meeting of the semester)
-playing “A Beautiful Mind”
-there will hopefully be snacks
*Thursday, May 1st at 5:30-7:30pm at Dr. Cross’ Farm
-10 minute drive (directions will be available)
-free dinner
-open to all psychology students…bring your psych friends!!
*There is now a new position for the Exec Board (36- in favor, 0-opposed)
-the position of Vice President has been split into 2 VP positions
1) Activities VP: plan speakers, events, etc.
2) Service VP: plans volunteer opportunities and makes contacts with
local organizations
-this helps distribute the duties of the execs
*Elections for the Exec Board for next year

VP Service: Ali Perryman
Treasurer: Sara Brown
Secretary: Amy Gardner
-Tonight was our last neeting for the semester
-May 1st from 5:30-7:30pm is the Psych Picnic
-New members will receive their certificates and pins in the fall
