Psi Chi General Meeting Minutes- February 19, 2008
*Roll Call
All members were present with the exception of Rob Abood, Jessica Adamczak, Rachel Atchley, Dawn Beemer, Sharon Bellina, Jeffrey Day, Jennifer Estes, Dana Faux, Ric France, Sarah Goetz, Caitlin Hesch, Josh Kendrick, Maria Kennihan, Olivia Lobaugh, Katie McCool, Christina McKinnis, Natalie Nagy, Katy Orchowski, Lauren Paladino, Robert Schreiner, Emmalynn Sigrist, and Erica Snyder.
*Recruitment has started for new members. Applications are due March 11. Spread the word about Psi Chi!
*Penalties for not completing requirements (individuals can choose one of the following):
-attend 2 extra events
-bring food to an event or meeting
-plan an outside event
the vote passed with no opposition
*The display case will be updated after the next meeting. Keep an eye out for an email from Nicole Tindall.
*Faculty meetings count as an outside event (part of your requirements). We need 2 representatives to attend the meetings. They are on certain Thursdays at 12:20-1:20 in Carnegie 100. Alicia Revitsky and Rachel Fodl signed up to attend Thursday, February 21.
*Need ideas for events/ways to make meetings more fun:
-Nicole can organize, email her at tindaln@allegheny.edu
-suggestions: movie night ("Identity", "Momentum"), speakers, chaps
*Elections for new officers will happen right after the next group of inductees join. If you are interested, please contact the officer who holds that position currently to find out more information!
