:.Web Access Back

--September 12, 2006

We finally got the website working again. There was some problem with our server. Anyhow, the beginning of the fall semester has been running smoothly. We helped move in a ton of freshmen in late August. Our rush efforts also seem to be going well. Now that the website is working again, check back for more updates.

Also on January 21, 2006, Beta Chi Chapter hosted the annual winter Alumni/Building Association meeting. Overall, it was a productive meeting. Dave Mancuso will be heading a commitee to help with career and job searching for the undergraduates. This idea evoked a positive reaction from the undergraduates who found the school's career services left something to be desired. The second floor hallway tile was replaced over break, and ideas for more renovations were kicked around. One of the biggest things that was discussed was remodeling the bathroom in the Exec Hallway. The next Alumni/Building Association meeting will be held June 3, 2006 here at the undergraduate house. The anual golf outing will be held after the meeting around 2 o'clock PM.

:.Make a Difference Day: October 18, 2003

This year the brotherhood participated in several Make A Difference Day projects: painting and repairing siding, building a wheelchair access ramp, and cleaning the furniture closet - a local philanthropy program Beta Chi has led on a weekly basis for the last six consecutive years. Collectively, the brothers committed over 200 hours of community service for Make a Difference Day.

We have also expanded our weekly commitments by volunteering our time to build for Habitat for Humanity.
