Beta Chi Chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity

From the President.:

:.Continuing the Tradition

History is important to any member of a fraternity, it provides us with common heritage and reminds us of our purpose for living our lives the way we do. As a member of Beta Chi Chapter I take special pride in our history as it binds generations of men who have passed through our halls and reminds the brotherhood of the gravity of our accomplishments. This semester we attempt to make the transition from a small brotherhood exerting full effort to grow and succeed to a fully populated brotherhood that has the opportunity to excel beyond the expectations of our peer organizations. As a result of our increased membership we can continue to give due attention to philanthropy, rush, and our academics that form the cornerstone of our institution while accepting new tasks that will enhance the nature of our brotherhood. We are currently working to build bridges between generations of undergraduates and alumni while improving the Chapter facility, expanding our involvement in Campus activities, and perfecting the balance between membership in a social organization and our primary academic responsibilities. History reminds the members of our brotherhood the quest for improvement will forever be the source of our growth and prosperity. As I look back over the past year I am amazed by how much we have accomplished in such short time. Yet that brief emotion counts for little as I am transfixed by how much we will be able to accomplish in the years to come.

Fraternally,

Caldwell Bishop
