St. Patrick is an interesting edition to Survivor III. This is because he has never before been to the desert. He was born in Kilpatrick, Scotland in 385. When he was 14, he was captured into slavery in Ireland. Because of a dream he had from god, he managed to escape and be reunited with his family in England at the age of 20. From there he became a bishop, went back to Ireland, and converted many of the kingdoms to Christianity. During this time, he used the shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity, not to catch leprechauns. In his free time, St. Patrick enjoys hunting for four-leaf clovers, chasing snakes, and drinking sacremental wine. He can still be found today in Irish Pubs (particularly on March 17) getting a bit tipsy with his kinfolk.

Margery Kempe is an unusual addition to our group of castaways. Although not quite a saint, she is not a typical lay worshipper either. After dictating her story to a scribe, she published The Book of Margery Kempe, and story of her life and visions. After a serious illness following the birth of one of her 14 children, Margery began to have intimate visions with Christ. Under Christ's dirtection, she made pilgrimages all over the world. She eventually became wedded to God. (Though some contestants have complained that this will give Margery an unfair edge in the competition, these allegations have yet to be proven conclusively.) In her free time, Margery enjoys extreme weeping, excessive crying, and boisterous sobbing, while reflecting on the Passion.
