MCEP/DEP Energy Fellows Program
Educating the Students of Today for the Energy Challenges of Tomorrow

During the 2003-2004 school year, ten students from Allegheny College, Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, Gannon University, Grove City College, Mercyhurst College, and Penn State Behrend with an interest in energy and the environment were selected to participate in the MCEP/DEP Energy Fellows program. They explored the real-life challenges and complexities of energy policy through special seminars on energy efficiency, environmental stewardship and the economic realities of consumption. This included workshops held at Allegheny and site visits to explore first hand innovations in the energy field.
