Medieval and Renaissance Studies

Medieval and Renaissance Studies is one of Allegheny College's special interdisciplinary minors. It is an examination of the history, religion, art, and literature of the medieval and Renaissance periods, intended to foster a sympathetic understanding of an age very different from our own, as well as a better sense of the roots of the modern era. Courses to be chosen from a list including the English, History, Religious Studies, Philosophy and Art departments. 20 credits required.
