French Studies
A study of the political, social, intellectual, and artistic manifestations
of French civilization and culture. The minor requires 20 credits and
proficiency in French at the 300-level. The minor coordinator is Professor
Courtney Dodge, and the minor is administered by the French section
of the Modern Languages Department.
Course Requirements
for the French Studies Minor:
A minimum of two courses in French and
- FS FRE 201: Speaking of France Today
- One 300 level course
Take at least three of the following courses taught in English*:
