The
Snowman
A snowman waxes poetic,
a lone figure,
slumped sideways, always about
to tumble, his carrot sad about his feet,
left for a rabbit to snatch, his arms-
only twigs-point every which way,
a fair scarecrow that scares no one.
Bloated body, no toes, no genitals,
this man dies as quickly as he melts.
