The Allegheny College Equestrian Club (ACEC) is a student run organization open to all members of the Allegheny College community. The club serves as an outlet for students and a social network for horse-lovers of all backgrounds and areas of study. Events include weekly riding lessons, a traveling show team, philanthropy work, mock shows, and more. Most importantly, the team combines the challenging academics of Allegheny College with the sporting experience of the equestrian world.

For more information on joining the club, email us at alleghenyhorse@hotmail.com

The Allegheny College Equestrian Team (ACET) is the competitive division of the ACEC. As one of over 300 member schools, Allegheny students travel and compete under the guidelines of the Intercolligiate Horse Show Association (ihsainc.com). Competition is open to all levels of riders from begining walk-trot classes to open and alumni levels. The Allegheny College Equestrian Team competes against 16 local schools in Zone 3, Region 3 of the IHSA. The IHSA is unique in its emphasis on teamwork, networking, horsemanship and scholarship.
