The
College/Schools Collaborative
Do you have a terrific idea for a collaborative project between your
school and Allegheny College staff or students? If so, the College/Schools Collaborative can help you by
providing seed money and facilitating contacts between you and the college.
A project request
can include, but is not limited to, covering transportation costs, purchase of
supplies, expenses associated with guest presenters, or recruiting college
students for service.
The request process
is quite simple. First, develop the
idea by speaking with as many individuals as possible who can assist in the
project. Second, complete this project
proposal form (both sides). Third,
submit the form to a member of the Collaborative.
The criteria used by
the C/SC Committee to determine project approval will include:
1. The project will enhance learning of the participants
and supports its principle goals.
2. The number of individuals that will participate to
equate to the funds solicited.
3. Collaboration will be utilized between school districts
and Allegheny College.
The C/SC is charged
with the responsibility of facilitating projects benefiting the Allegheny
College, Crawford Central, and PENNCREST School Districts communities. The Collaborative Group will review all
project proposals and assist in the development (but not the operation) of the
project.

contacted by letter if your Project Proposal has been approved.
