Professional Recyclers of Pennsylvania Get On-Site Visit
On October 2, the PROP Organics Committee held a training session at Allegheny College. Speakers covered a range of topics including the use of woodchips, switchgrass and other biomass as energy sources as well as year-round cropping. Representatives from the College provided an overview of the CEED program, efforts at campus sustainability including the food waste composting program.
