On January 30 and 31st and Feb. 1st, Allegheny will be participating in Focus the Nation, a national teach-in model on global warming issues. This three day event will feature a range of programs and talks on Climate Change including faculty presentations, live music, local foods, interactive webinar, keynote speaker, and community meeting. All events are free of charge and open to the public.
On January 31st, Brian Hill ‘81, President of Pennsylvania Environmental Council (PEC), and Nancy Cole, Union of Concerned Citizens will present Pennsylvania's Roadmap for Climate Change, which will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Ford Chapel.
A follow-up community meeting will be held with Hill on February 1st, 1:30pm-2:30pm in the Tillotson Room, Tippie Alumni Center, to develop environmental guiding principles.
