Declaration of Our Shared Commitment

Real. Strong. Women.

Alpha Chi Omega was formed by a group of women who were real and genuine. As an organization, we recruit women who will continue this tradition in today’s society. Alpha Chi Omega strives to recruit strong, smart, compassionate women who are eager to make a difference.

Leadership Development

Alpha Chi Omega provides its members with the opportunity to take on numerous leadership roles. National Headquarters has also designed a unique leadership development program called the Alpha Chi Omega Experience. This program will be implemented in Fall 2012.

Lasting Friendships

Alpha Chi Omega is a wonderful way to meet people and develop friendships while helping out in the community and making a difference. These friendships will also last beyond college and your sisters will always be by your side. No matter where you are in life, Alpha Chi will always be there to support you and help you succeed.

Networking

Over 200,000 women have been initiated as sisters of Alpha Chi Omega and they are all ready to help you at different stages of your life.

Academic Excellence

The women of Alpha Chi Omega had the highest sorority GPA in Fall 2010 with a 3.31! This is higher than the all-sorority average and the all-women average. The sisters also schedule times during the week to do homework together as a way to show support and encourage academic success.

Make a Difference

Alpha Chi Omega will give each member the skills needed to make her own difference, whether it’s with our philanthropy or individually. Every sister has the capability to become a leader and accomplish anything she chooses.

We Like to Have Fun!

Yes, we’re serious about academics, community service and leadership. But all work and no play makes for dull women! We set up times to watch TV shows, go bowling, attend events on campus, and even do homework together. There’s never a dull moment when you’re a sister of Alpha Chi Omega!
