On Wednesday, April 4, 2012 the entire Greek community came together for Greek Awards. This years Greek Awards was unlike any other. There was a pre-awards reception with snacks, drinks, a chocolate fountain, a red carpet, and a photo booth. All of the chapters dressed in pin attire and mingled for the first half hour.

Once the awards started, everyone was seated in Shaffer Auditorium. There were approximately twelve different awards up for grabs. Many were awards for entire chapters but there were a few for individuals in Greek life. The Delta Chapter was impressed to hear our name called for the “Outstanding Philanthropy of the Year Award”, which we won. We were also very excited when sophomore, Courtney Morando, won the “Emerging Leader Award”, which was given out to only one member of the entire Greek community.

Overall it was a festive and enjoyable night that we will all remember.
