We here at the Delta Chapter would like to congratulate our 21 beautiful seniors for graduating and officially becoming alumni of Alpha Chi Omega.  Our last few weeks together were full of laughs, fun, and plenty of tears, and they will be missed dearly.

Seniors -- Fall Formal 2009

At our Senior Reception, one senior woman was nominated by her fellow seniors to receive a Life Loyal Award from Alpha Chi Omega.  The seniors nominated Maria D’Antonio, one of the most beautiful, committed women to ever grace the Delta Chapter.  Maria would never hesitate when it came to being there for her sisters.  Whether we needed a game show host for big/little week or someone to facilitate sisterhood bonding during our retreats, Maria would jump at any chance to help out our chapter.  Maria is going to be greatly missed, and I can’t think of anyone that deserves this award more than her.

Another one of our beloved seniors, Trista Szocs (top left, pink dress), was recently initiated into one of the most old and prestigious honor societies in the United States.  Phi Beta Kappa is a national honors fraternity that distinguishes senior students for their academic success and interest in many fields of study.  “There is no application process, so I was extremely surprised when I received a letter of acceptance because I had not applied,” Trista said.  Not only does she show spectacular scholastic achievement, but she also holds Alpha Chi near and dear to her heart.  She strives to uphold the standards and ideals of Alpha Chi Omega everyday, and there is no doubt in my mind that she will go very far in life.  We love you, T!

I hope everyone is having a great summer!
