Directions
Getting to the college...
From I-79 N/S:
- Take exit 147A (towards Meadville), and you’ll come out of the
exit onto US 6 E/322 E/19 N.
- If you need to stop off at a hotel, it’ll be off to the
left.
- Drive about 1 mile to a large fork; be in the right lane and take
the fork to the right to get onto Park Avenue.
- Follow Park Avenue through seven traffic lights.
- Turn right onto North Street.
- At the first traffic light (North Main Street), turn left.
- Follow this through one traffic light and bear right to stay
on North Main.
- Allegheny College is slightly up the hill.
Getting to Alden Hall...
- Continue up North Main Street until you reach E. John Street,
a small street on the right; turn onto this.
- Several parking lots will be on your right—turn into
the driveway and park on the lot up the hill to your left.
- Walk back down the hill and head left, away from E. John
Street.
- Alden Hall is the second building on your right, facing onto
a brick walkway. Walk on in.
- Shout until somebody realizes you’ve arrived.
