Formatting in Dreamweaver 4

Entering Text

Dreamweaver allows you to type in the document window just like in a Microsoft Word document. However, indent and paragraph formatting is not recognized. Use the following methods to format.

To start a new paragraph or new line:

• Use the return button and it will automatically skip a space and left align
• Press "shift-enter" to start a new line.
• To indent, insert a table

Formatting:

To change the background color use Page Properties.

To format text use the Properties Inspector:

• Font and font size
• Headings
• Bulletted List
• Text alignment
• Bold and Italic

Tables

Insert a table with 3 columns and 2 rows

Type "Mark Twain" in the first space, "Emacipation Proclaimation in second column, and

"Napoleon" in last column.

Click inside the space under "Mark Twain" and insert the saved Mark Twain image.

Insert the other images
