- The Solidago Eurosta Gall Homepage: An excellent web resource produced by Dr. Warren Abrahamson of Bucknell University; highly recommended! The links "Key to Gall Contents" and "Insect Parasites and Predators" are especially useful for students doing projects that require opening ball-galls and discriminating between larvae of the ball-gall fly Eurosta solidaginis and its three main parasitoids: the wasps Eurytoma obtusiventris and Eurytoma gigantea, and the beetle Mordellistena convicta.
