    Eric Palmer is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Allegheny College. His teaching, and his research and writing center around history and philosophy of science, especially with a regard for the Sixteenth and Seventeenth Centuries, and the legal and ethical status of corporate entities. Those concerns have led him to work in contemporary political theory and metaphysics as well.
