Develop proficiency with primary literature and scientific review articles
Understand the interdisciplinary nature of biochemical research
Understand the functioning of a particular class of enzymes, heme-containing enzymes
Exposure to faculty doing Biochemical research at Allegheny College
Understanding the context of biochemical research, how to carry out research in a socially responsible manner
Develop proficiency with using the scientific search tools and writing review papers
Develop proficiency with use of molecular biological, biochemical, bio-inorganic, and biophysical techniques for carrying out a defined project.
