The Lost Podcast: Mood & Memory
We have one more podcast to present. Dylan was unable to finish his work on the Group 4 podcast, so he has created a podcast of his own. Specifically, Dylan examines the relationship between mood and memory. Do we rememeber more in a good mood? Are we more vulnerable to memory errors when we are in a bad mood? Do good moods stimulate cognitive processing? This is an interesting line of research that is growing in cognitive psychology. For example, research has found that being in a good mood increases divergent thinking, which is a necessary component of problem solving.
