The group decided at their organizational meeting on 8/31:

Presentations:

1. There will be one group presentation per week taking place every Tuesday

· presentations on Tuesday will be followed by a related discussion Thursday.

· presentations will be graded 50% individual and 50% group

· presentation groups will include three students each

Discussions:

2. There will be a discussion taking place every Thursday

· students should research discussion topics in order to better prepare themselves for discussions

· Field trips relating to the discussion topics may be taken on Thursdays

Grading:

3. Grades for the class are separated into three categories:

· Discussion/Participation: 30%

· Paper: 30%

· Weekly Presentations: 40%

Field Trips:

4. Field Trips can be taken on discussion days. Some suggestions were:

· Hospital

· Psychologist’s Office

· Rehab Center on Grove Street

· Physical Therapy Center

Papers:

5. The paper is a possible idea for a comp

· A second reader for the paper needs to be found. This person could be a comp supervisor and their critiques are used for comparisons.
