Why Major/Minor? Requirements for Major/Minor Course Scheduling Guide |
||||
Women's Studies is proud to be an interdisciplinary liberal arts program, and students achieve breadth in their program by completing elective courses in four different categories. Majors are required to take at least one course from each of the four categories, while minors select electives from two of the four categories.
Many regularly offered courses and some special topics courses may qualify to be counted in the Women's Studies program. In the list below are courses that have been offered in the past few years that may count toward Women's Studies.
Students may not count a course toward both the major and the minor presented for graduation. (Rules for double majors and minors may vary.) Please consult with a Women's Studies advisor to find out what courses YOU may include in your Women's Studies program. For more information about elective courses, students may contact Professor Rose or the Registrar's Office.
