Registration Information for Fall, 2008

Pre-registration for Fall, 2008 will be on-line using WebAdvisor. You must have your advisor's approval to register.

The registration order is E, F, G, H, B, A, D, C. See the below for details.

Each semester, the last two groups will move to the front of the list, in reverse order. For example, the registration order for Spring, 2009 will be C, D, E, F, G, H, B, A.. The following semester it will be A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H. Using this procedure, each letter group will occupy each position in the list over an eight semester period and no group will be on the last day two semesters in a row.

Students may register anytime after the start of their registration time. It is advantageous to register before the succeeding group. WebAdvisor registration will be closed on Friday, April 25 at 5:00 PM.

Your registration class is determined by the number of credits you have completed and the number of credits you are currrently registered for. Please check the "My profile" or "My class schedule" WebAdvisor screen to determine your registration class, registration letter group, and to verify that you have been approved by your advisor.

Prior to Registration

Before you register, you will need your WebAdvisor PIN and your advisor's permission to register. Your advisor will grant permission to register electronically, but you must see your advisor to consult about your schedule and obtain permission to register.

Test your PIN well ahead of your registration date. If you have forgotten it, or do not have one,bring photo id to the Registrar's Office.

If you are having difficulty with your PIN, bring a photo id to the Registrar's office.

 

Signature Courses

Signature Courses may not be added with WebAdvisor. Students will have to get a signature course add card from the Registrar's office and get the instructor's signature. These signature cards will be honored for signature classes only. Cards must be returned by 5:00 PM, May 6. They will not be honored after that date!

If a signature course puts you into more than 18 credits, the card will be returned to you unprocessed.

 

After Registration

After you have registered, go to WebAdvisor and view the "My class schedule" screen to verify your schedule. Make any needed corrections.

 

Credit Limit

You may register for a maximum of 18 credits at this time. You will have an opportunity to add additional credits in the fall.

 

Credit/No Credit

You may not declare courses CR/NCR at this time. You will have an opportunity to declare courses CR/NCR using cards during the Add period in the fall.

 

Change Period

There will be an all-college change period from April 28 through May 6, during which you may make adjustments using add/drop cards. Cards will be available April 28 at the Registrar's Office.

Cards must be returned by 5:00 PM, May 6. They will not be honored after that date!

 

Applied Music

Students wishing to enroll in applied music classes should do so with signature add cards after consulting with members of the Music Department.
