  • Prior to departure, you must review with your academic advisor at Allegheny what subjects or topics you want to take at Oxford (the subjects that are offered at St. Peters' are listed on the front of this flier). It is anticipated that you will be conducting in-depth study in your major and/or minor, and it is anticipated that you will earn the equivalent of 32 Allegheny credits during the year at Oxford.

Once you arrive at St. Peter's College, you will meet with the admissions tutor, and your academic tutor, and discuss your choice of tutorials/subjects and your course load. As long as you take a "full-load" at St. Peters' College, you should earn 32 Allegheny credits. A "full-load" may consist of 3 to 6 tutorials for the whole year, generally in one subject that is offered by St. Peter's (subjects listed on front of flier). In order to assure full credit transfer, you MUST fax or email your tutorial/subject choices to the International Office once you have talked to the tutors. We will then review the information with your academic advisor and respond immediately with any comments.

  • Courses taken on this program are listed as Oxford University transfer credit on the Allegheny transcript; academic work will be evaluated by the tutors and only courses with satisfactory evaluations will transfer.

  • The program at St. Peter's is a YEAR LONG PROGRAM! If you withdraw from the program after one or two terms, it is possible that you will not receive any refund.
