Scheduled Power Outage Planned for the Lunch Hour on Thursday.

Starting at Noon on Thursday October 16 there will be a planned power outage to test the response of the back up generators and other power supply equipment.

The Admin server (Datatel) will be taken offline as part of this planned outage. Please be sure to be logged out of Datatel prior to noon on 10/16/08.

Power will be restored at 1:00pm when the test is complete.

Access to the Internet Restored

Windstream restored the region's connection to the internet last night. The outage effected approximately 60,000 Windstream customers.

Allegheny's access to the internet was restored at approximately 2:15am on October 9.

Internet Access Is Due to Windstream Network Outage

The System Administrator just got off the phone with the Windstream representative who reports that they are investigating the problem. The problem is effecting all Windstream customers in the region.
