Margret Kreidl

 

Born January 2, 1964 in Salzburg. Lived 1983 till 1996 in Graz. Free­lance writer since 1989, author of plays, prose, poetry. Has lived in Vienna since 1996.

1991 Residency Stipend of the Literary Colloquium and the Berlin Senate for Young German-language Authors. 1992 und 1994 Play­wright award of the Federal Ministry for Education and Art. 1993/94 Stipend of the Academy Schloss Solitude, Stuttgart. 1994 Reinhard-Priessnitz-Prize. 1996 Literary Advancement Prize of the city of Graz 1997. 1999 Playwright's Stipend for Literature.
