The Geology Department extends our deep gratitude to Chris Yokoyama '96 who recently made a donation to the Wayne Brewer Memorial Fund. Chris' donation is doubly effective because it was matched by his employer, BP America. The Brewer fund was established in honor of Wayne Brewer, who was a memeber of the Geology Department faculty from 1980 to 1990. Wayne was a dynamic teacher, a caring mentor, and an innovative scientist. The Brewer fund pays tribute to Wayne's contributions by providing support for students who show exceptional promise and spirit in their senior project researchs.
