Geology Newsletter - new 2007.
The Geology Department has a long history at Allegheny with over 400 Geology graduates. You can browse a small sampling of what some of our alumni are doing on the main Allegheny College Geology website (once there you'll need to select the Inside Geology tab to return).
We often have alumni contact us to provide leads on jobs and internships for our current students and to just keep in touch. We also have alumni who have returned to Alden Hall to give presentations to the current geology students. These visits have included informal discussions about careers in geology as well as presentations about specific projects. We always welcome alumni to get in touch with us and to stop in for a visit!
Alumni are valuable resources for our current students. If you are willing to be directly involved or if you have ideas, advice or leads about internships, jobs, or other mentoring please let us know! The following are ways to keep in touch:
Gator Locator - Allegheny's new password protected site for alumni where you can:
- Serve as a mentor to students (e.g., provide career advice, sign-up to
sponsor an internship, offer to let students shadow you at work, etc)
- Update your contact information
- Search for friends, classmates, and network with other alumni
Or, if you would simply like to update your contact information at this time, click here.
