The following programs are sponsored by Allegheny College. Students who choose to participate in them will still retain their Allegheny financial aid.

Paris (semester): This Boston University internship program is open to students who have completed at least four semesters of college French or the equivalent. Internships are combined with course work in a wide variety of fields. Students may reside either in French homes or in a university housing complex with other American students.
Angers (semester or year): An exchange program with L’Université Catholique de l’Ouest. Students choose programs designed for them based on their levels of proficiency in French. Accommodations are in private homes. Professor Courtenay Dodge can discuss this program in more detail with interested students.
Senegal (semester or year): This University of Minnesota program is open to students who have completed at least four semesters of college French or the equivalent. The program focuses on development efforts and their sustainability. Students from a range of disciplines -- social sciences, African studies, environmental science, health sciences, women's studies -- are encouraged to apply.
