Untaxed Income

This includes untaxed income found on the federal income tax return, as well as other untaxed income benefits.

From the 2000 federal income tax return:

Earned Income Credit (1040 - Line 60a; 1040A - Line 38a; 1040EZ - Line 8a; Telefile - Line L)
Deductible IRA and/or self-employed SEP, SIMPLE and Keogh payments (1040 - total lines 23 + 29; 1040A line 16)
Untaxed portion of pensions, excluding rollovers (1040 - Line 15a minus 15b and 16a minus 16b; 1040A - Line 11a minus 11b and 12a minus 12b)
Credit for Federal tax on special fuels (IRS Form 4136 - Line 9)
Foreign income exclusion (IRS Form 2555 - Line 43; 2555EZ - Line 18)
Tax exempt interest income (1040 - Line 8b; 1040A - Line 8b)
Additional child tax credit (Line 62; 1040A - Line 39)

Add other untaxed income and benefits not found on tax return:

Untaxed social security benefits received for ALL family members, including student
Child support received for all children in household
Welfare benefits, including TANF
Payments to tax-deferred pension and savings plans, including 401(k) and 403(b) plans
Worker's Compensation
Veteran's noneducational benefits
Housing, food, and other living allowances paid to members of the military, clergy and others (including cash payments and cash value of benefits)
Any other untaxed income and benefits
