Welcome to the Allegheny College EFC Calculator!

This calculator is intended to give you an estimated figure for a specific student's Expected Family Contribution (EFC) toward college costs. The EFC figure is calculated using the federally-mandated formula for 2002-2003. To determine financial need, subtract the calculated EFC from Allegheny's comprehensive cost of $27,780 (tuition, fees, room and board) for the 2002-2003 academic year.

REQUIREMENTS
The formula used is specific to dependent students and will not be accurate for students who are over 24 years of age, are married, or have served active duty in the armed forces (independent students).
