Welcome to the Allegheny College EFC Calculator!

This calculator is intended to give you an estimated figure for a specific student's Expected Family Contribution (EFC) toward college costs. The EFC figure is calculated using the federally-mandated formula for 2002-2003.

REQUIREMENTS
The formula used is specific to dependent students and will not be accurate for students who are over 24 years of age, are married, or have served active duty in the armed forces (independent students).

SECURITY
You will be asked to enter confidential family information, such as parent and student income and assets. No personally identifiable information is required and no record of entered information is kept. The results will remain confidential and can only be viewed by you.
