Hands on Learning in Managerial Economics

Hands on learning is integral to the managerial economics program as it provides students with opportunities to practice the theories and concepts they learn in the classroom. Students in the managerial economics program get hands on experience through internships, study tours, field trips and the executive in residence program.

Students typically work in companies in Meadville and Pittsburgh, but over the past year students have interned in Washington DC, New York, Hawaii, and many other places.
	Tax Preparation Internship at Senior Center Each year, students assist seniors and low-income individuals with their federal tax forms.
	Tech Tool Internship Internships do not happen only in financial services institutions. Managerial economics students learn to apply their skills in a variety of organizations.
