This is the Inside Biochemistry web site, an electronic resource for Biochemistry majors, students considering a Biochemistry major, Biochemistry faculty members, and anyone else interested in the Biochemistry Program at Allegheny College.

The Biochemistry Program is jointly supported by faculty in the Biology,
Chemistry, and Physics Departments. As befits a discipline at the intersection
of several fields, majors take courses in several different departments
(Biology, Chemistry, Math, and Physics), thereby gaining a firm grounding
in the constituent disciplines. Depending on their particular area(s)
of interest, students can elect to carry out their junior seminar and
senior project work in any of the three sponsoring departments.
